Två räddningsbåtar från Sjöräddningssällskapet med blåljusen tända och en ambulanshelikopter svepte plötsligt in i hamnen. Några minuter senare var patienten ombord och hela insatsen var över. Det gick snabbt. Väldigt snabbt.
Det är lätt att ta för givet, men i de här ögonblicken blir man påmind om vilket fantastiskt system vi har. Oavsett om nöden uppstår i skärgården eller någon annanstans i landet finns människor som är redo att rycka ut – dygnet runt.
Ett stort tack till alla som arbetar för att hjälpen ska komma när den behövs som mest.

Two rescue boats from the Swedish Sea Rescue Society, their blue lights flashing, and an air ambulance helicopter suddenly swept into the harbor. Just a few minutes later, the patient was on board, and the entire operation was over. It happened fast. Incredibly fast.
It’s easy to take it for granted, but moments like these remind us what an extraordinary emergency response system we have. Whether an emergency occurs in the archipelago or anywhere else in the country, there are dedicated people ready to respond – around the clock.
